About Susan McCord:

As one of five children, I grew up in Vancouver Canada and have lived here for most of my life with the exception of living in Dallas, Texas for one year. (My son was born there)I was a single mom for 18 years while I worked as a flight attendant for a Canadian Airline. I recently left my job after 20 years, to pursue my passion in Broadcasting/Radio/TV.

After many attempts to get into the radio market in Vancouver from 2002-2005, I gave up and ventured into writing and producing my own show on the Internet. “Leave It Two Beavers” was my first show in 2005.

I started out practicing at home with a $10 microphone and then graduated to a Recording Studio called Fiasco Bros. We started archiving all our audio shows for the first 2 years and then decided to add Video & Blog content to each show as well. My partner Sandra came along after my first co-host decided to pursue another career. Sandra was a regular at the studio and was there learning the engineering side of Studio Production.

Sandra and I hit it off and have been together for the past three years. Researching marketing feedback, we changed the show name to Beavertalk to simplify accessibility to our website. We joined Youtube in Feb. 2008 and as of June 2009 have over 80 videos uploaded. Our Beavertalk website is more extensive with a 20 minute audio, video clip and blog of each show segment we produce. The content is based on Dating/Relationships/Sex/Lifestyle. We use a humorous no-nonsense approach with all our show content. The best part of all is, we are “gender friendly” and our whole concept is to make men and women appreciate each other and embrace their differences.

Our audience has grown dramatically in the last year and we are well on our way to bolder achievements. I have never given up on my belief in this project despite doors closing in my face regularly in the Canadian Broadcasting Market. Maybe one day soon I can thank them for closing those doors, as the path I have since chosen may definitely be the best road traveled. xoxo Susan McCord

About Sandra Sigfusson:

I met Susan at the Fiasco Bros. Recording Studio while taking a course on recording engineering. She was looking for a co-host and I was looking for a chance to learn more about recording engineering through practical experience. Once I had a few shows under my belt I was hooked. I love to laugh and if you listen to just one of our shows you will know this without it being said. This Leave It Two Beavers site & Beavertalk.com has so much more to offer than just dating and sex issues. As two real “Canadian Beavers”, Susan and I know enough to have valuable and candid conversations, backed by research and our own personal experiences. But the #1 thing is that we want to be both educational and entertaining, and I think we are doing a damned fine job of achieving that mandate.I am truly excited to be a part of something so great, and I can only hope you enjoy listening to us as much as I enjoy laughing.

In addition to Beavertalk & my fantastic parnership with Susan in this business, I have also found ways to express myself in three other artistic venues – Professional Photographer, Video Editor & Graphic Design. I have several webpages where my work is showcased, however the best place to see my work is at my webpage on RedBubble.com. Cheers! Sandra
